Polka Dot Traveling Patch Worldwide Fabric Exchange
In celebration of National Quilting Day, one of my favorite quilt shops, Prairie Stitches Quilt Shoppe, owners Susan and Kim are doing an awesome traveling patch exchange. Here is how it works:

• Reserve your spot in the exchange by emailing us at
customerservice@prairiestitchesquiltshop.com, or call
us at 630-554-9701. We will need your name, email
and physical address. The cutoff date for registration is
3/15/14
• Purchase 5 yards of “quilt store quality” Polka dot fabric
• Cut fabric into 10” squares (you will have enough fabric to exchange with 60 quilters)
• Maybe add a little note (sticker) to each square if you would like to introduce yourself, some
suggestions for your note could be:

• Where you are from
• How long have you been quilting
• Why you have chosen this polka dot fabric
• Maybe just a simple “Hello” or “I Love Quilting”
• Put your squares in the individual envelopes (envelopes must be 4” by 9.5”) along
with your note; make sure your return address is on each envelope. Enclose
with a check (US only) or call shop with credit card number (US &
International) for $66.00(return postage & handling) and send them to us at:

Then in April, 2014 wait for 60 individual traveling patches from quilters around the
world to show up in your mailbox.
I am planning on joining the exchange and will be designing a quilt to go with the 10" squares.
