Absence makes the heart grow fonder?

Yes, I know it's been a while since I've blogged but I have some great excuses!  Excuse #1:  We (Sue, Joyce, LeAnne (quilter) and I) got the Memories of Provence Block of the Month Version 1 in black done!  It turned out fabulous and here is a picture of it.  It is now in Portland for a show that E. E. Schenck puts on in their warehouse.  They are going to be displaying it there to help promote the fabric and the block of the month.  I've had a few inquiries about the Block of the Month so I thought I would explain it to everyone.  First, though, I am so excited that the quilt is featured in American Patchwork & Quilting Quilt Sampler in Vintage Threads Quilt Shoppe.  They have done the quilt in Olde World Style fabric line and tested the blocks and finishing instructions for me.  I was so thrilled to see it in their shop in the magazine!  If you don't have the magazine already, make sure that you pick it up because 2 of my favorite shops are featured:  Vintage
