Quiltmaker 100 Block Blog Tour

Welcome!

It is so nice to once again be included in the magazine and the blog tour!  I love to hear from everyone and hope that you will comment for a chance to win a copy of the magazine plus much more!

The block that is included in the Quiltmaker 100 Block Volume 5 is called Diamond Eyes.  It may not be a surprise to some of you that one of my favorite elements in a block and quilts as well, is the diamond shape.  I think it adds beauty to the quilts and some different elements.  Here is my block:

Since my husband has been ill and I have been working on getting ready for Market, I decided to do some give-aways instead of a project.  I hope that you understand and although I don't have alot of time, I can do some great give-aways.  If you make a comment, you will be entered to win one of the following:

First, the magazine is giving away a copy of the Quiltmaker 100 Blocks Volume 5.

Second, my newest rulers will be debuting at Market.  It is a "mini" Fit to be Quarter and is called Fit to be Quarter 2.5.  It works just like the Fit to be Quarter but it's only 2 1/2".  SO cute!  I am giving away 8 of these!  It is so new, it's not even on my website yet!

Third, there have been quite a few people blogging about 2 of my rulers: Fit to be Geese and Mini Fit to be Geese.  Thanks Kathie and Thelma!  The Fit to be Geese ruler can be used for my block so I decided to give away 3 of these.  Also, I am giving away 2 Mini Fit to be Geese rulers.

So, in all you have 14 chances to win something...better odds than the lotto!  All you have to do is make a comment on the following:

Since it is spring, what is your favorite flower?  Anyone who knows me, knows mine are tulips.  I have been receiving a lot of tulips from friends and family lately to help make me smile and they certainly have!  Thank you!

Good luck in the drawing and I close the drawing on Saturday night and will announce the winner Monday morning.  Please make sure that if you do not want to leave your email address, that you watch Monday morning to see if you have won.

Thank you everyone who has wished the best for my husband and I.  He is doing better but it will be a long recovery.  I just thank God that he is still with me.

My favourite spring flower is the daffodil. When I see them starting to come up I know that winter must be almost over.

I love crocus. They don't last very long, but they mean spring is finally here.
It's white tulips for me. Love the fresh white but also that celery green stem. Total sign of spring!

I love purple flowers, so I like lilacs and iris the best. Congratulations and thank you for a great giveaway! :)

I don't know if lilacs would qualify, but they are my favorite "flower" even though they grow on trees! I am just waiting for them to bloom any day! Great giveaway!

hi! really loving your blocks and pretty colors you chose! just my style!
My favorite flowers are gardenias and carnations, and gladiolas are my birth-month flowers. For spring-time flowers, I love the flowering trees, and walking down sidewalks lined with pinks, whites, yellows and purple-blossomed trees!
Thanks so much for so many chances to win! I've never heard of your rulers, but I love doing flying geese so the rulers look handy.

I'm a sucker for flowers, so it's hard to choose a favorite, but for form and elegance I'd pick Siberian Iris. Hope your DH is on the mend.

I love roses, especially the scented ones. The first flower peeking up in my garden in the spring is the crocus. Your block is wonderful. Thanks for all your giveaways!

A bearded Iris (new to me last year) has just bloomed this morning. My 4 yr old burying his nose into it and announced (with a yellow pollen coated nose) that it smelled like Cream Soda. He's right! Before this morning, my favorite blossom was the corabells because the hummingbirds make such a fuss over them. Prayers for you getting ready for Market, and Prayers to hubby for a steady recovery to health :)

Wishing a speedy recovery for your DH. Thanks for the giveaway and the chance to win. My current favorite Spring flower is the Candytuft. Bought two plants a couple of years ago and they are thriving. Bright and white, sun-loving, and the blooms last a very long time!

My favorite spring flower is the gorgeous wisteria, it blooms only a short time, but it is so lovely, I guess it would be considered a vine, but oh, so beautiful!!
